VenaSeal

The VenaSeal Closure System (VenaSeal System) is intended for use in the permanent closure by gluing superficial varicose veins of the lower extremities such as large venasafen (GSV) and associated varicose veins in the treatment of morbid venous reflux. The VenaSeal system is designed for people with clinically symptomatic venous reflux, diagnosed by duplex ultrasound.

The procedure is neoperitive, performed under local anesthesia under ultrasound control, through a crack in the vein, the appropriate amount of glue is injected, which causes closure of the vein.
