Labiaplasty

Discreet and precise correction for more comfort and self-confidence

What is labiaplasty?

Labiaplasty is a surgical procedure to reduce or remodel the labia minora (labia minora). It can be performed for aesthetic or functional reasons – when enlarged or asymmetrical lips cause discomfort, soreness when moving, sports, sexual intercourse or wearing underwear.

Who is the procedure suitable for?

IMPORTANT!

It is important that you are at least 18 years old, have a stable weight, good general health, personal motivation for the operation and realistic expectations for the result.

Before the procedure, the plastic surgeon will talk to you about all your questions and expectations. The choice of a breast lift method is carried out individually, together with the specialist. Women who are planning pregnancy and breastfeeding are usually advised to postpone surgery.

Informed consent is a mandatory document that contains a detailed description of the procedure, possible risks and complications, anesthesia and financial conditions. It is signed after careful familiarization and the opportunity to ask questions to the plastic surgeon or anesthesiologist.

How is the procedure performed?

1

Technique and methods of the operation

During the examination, the patient's needs and desires are determined. The most appropriate technique is selected (wedge-shaped, linear resection, etc.).

2

Anesthesia and Downtime

The duration of the operation is usually between 1 and 2 hours, depending on the scope of the correction. The incisions are closed with absorbable sutures, which are broken down by the body and do not require removal. After the procedure, it is necessary to remain under medical supervision.

Recovery - what to expect after surgery?

Each patient recovers for a different period of time.

The incisions are made along the old marks. Recovery is faster and easier.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Is surgery painful?

The procedure is performed under general anesthesia, therefore, no pain is felt during the operation. In the postoperative period, moderate discomfort is possible, which is usually successfully controlled with medication.

Initial recovery takes about 7–15 days. Most patients can return to work during this period if they feel ready. Full recovery occurs gradually in the following weeks.

The incisions are closed with absorbable sutures, and the scars are discreet. Over time, they fade significantly and usually become almost imperceptible.
