Scars are formed as a result of the skin’s repair process after a wound, surgery or burn. Although natural, some scars remain visible, convex or pigmented. Through surgical and non-surgical intervention, we can improve their appearance, reduce their relief and colour and restore your confidence.
Although scars cannot be completely removed, surgical correction significantly reduces their visibility. You will discuss the pros and risks with one of our specialists, who will recommend the most appropriate method for the specific case.
Keloids are an overgrowth of connective tissue extending beyond the boundaries of the primary wound. They are often red, dark, painful, or itchy. They are most often seen on the chest, shoulders and back. Treatment may include silicone plaques, corticosteroid injections, compressions, creams, or surgical removal. Recurrence is possible and frequent.
These scars are dense, reddened and raised, but do not go beyond the boundaries of the primary wound. They can improve over time and lend themselves more successfully to surgical correction.
It is important that you are at least 18 years old, have a stable weight, good general health, personal motivation for the operation and realistic expectations for the result.
Before the procedure, the plastic surgeon will talk to you about all your questions and expectations. The choice of a breast lift method is carried out individually, together with the specialist. Women who are planning pregnancy and breastfeeding are usually advised to postpone surgery.
Informed consent is a mandatory document that contains a detailed description of the procedure, possible risks and complications, anesthesia and financial conditions. It is signed after careful familiarization and the opportunity to ask questions to the plastic surgeon or anesthesiologist.

Scar correction is a surgical procedure aimed at improving the appearance and quality of existing scars. During the operation, the scar is cut precisely, and the tissues are closed with a fine aesthetic suture in order to achieve the most discreet result.

The duration of the intervention is about 30–40 minutes for small scars and from 1 to 2 hours for larger scars, depending on the scope of the correction. The procedure can be performed under local anesthesia or under general anesthesia, in which it is necessary to remain under observation in the medical institution for at least 2 hours after its completion.
Each patient recovers for a different period of time.
Revision surgery: It is performed after a complication or unsatisfactory aesthetic result.
The incisions are made along the old marks. Recovery is faster and easier.
If there is body hair in the area of surgical intervention, it should be shaved immediately before surgery.
